Safety Video Availabilty

Norton provides safety videos to its customers. To receive one of the following videos please contact your Norton Sales Representative. In addition to the videos listed below, a Norton Sales Representative will conduct safety training and can provide a large selection of printed safety materials.

  • Norton First in Precision Safety (8/00): A video showing grinding wheel precision safety designed for the user/customer. Filmed in the HGTC at Norton. Running time will be approximately 15 minutes.
  • Safety…It’s The Smart Thing To Do! (9/97): A video showing portable grinding safety designed for the user/customer. Filmed at a Norton metal fabrication customer. Running time is 15 minutes.
  • Foundry Grinding Wheel Safety: The Operator’s Role (1994): This video was filmed at a foundry and demonstrates proper grinding wheel safety. Running time is approximately 17 minutes.
  • Norton First in Railroad Safety (1992): This video was filmed at a railroad and covers grinding safety procedures for individuals that work on railroad maintenance-of-ways. Running time is approximately 13 minutes.
  • Fiber Discs: The Basics (4/96): While this in NOT listed as a safety video and was designed for distributor salespeople, it demonstrates proper fiber disc application, storage and safety. Running time is approximately 14 minutes.
