A mounted wheel is a small grinding wheel permanently fastened to its own spindle or mandrel. They are used in a multitude of operations in almost every industry and on a variety of machines. Extensively used in tool and die shops and foundries, they are also widely used in production shops for deburring, tool sharpening, finishing cavities, removing mold marks and parting lines, and on precision internal grinding operations.
