These free cutting wheels yield precise, thin cuts with minimum kerf loss.
These reinforced cut-off wheels contain strengthening fabric or filament throughout the entire diameter of the wheel. A reinforced cut-off wheel is required on any operation where the grinder is hand-guided (portable) or where the work is not securely clamped.

Toolroom Non-Reinforced Cut-Off Wheels (6" – 12")

The wide variety of Norton non-reinforced cut off wheels will provide solutions for all your toolroom needs: mild-acting rubber wheels for wet applications, shellac wheels for highly critical operations where no discoloration is permitted and numerous resin bonded wheels for dry or wet applications and low to high production runs.

Non-reinforced cut-off wheels are used only on "fixed based" machines where the work is securely clamped and the wheel adequately guarded, and the design of the machine such that the wheel operates in a controlled cutting plane.
